Happy new year!The Hirogen just got nastier than they were before, and to make matters even more interesting, the messages from home are not always the good news that the crew are hoping for. Janeway gets a Dear John from that dweeb Mark (freeing her up for any romantic attachments that might occur in the future), Chakotay learns that the Maquis are gone (courtesy of the Dominion), and tom... doesn't get anything. Sometimes no news ain't good news at all.
