Intelligence report

Yay, Seven of Nine. Replacing Kes with the Borg was a damned fine idea.

Although nothing really huge actually happens, this is still a good episode. It consolidates a lot of the things that have been happening over the past two seasons, such as Tom and B'Elanna's relationship, the Doctor's personality, Harry's sexuality, Seven of Nine's humanity, and Tuvok gets promoted to Lieutenant Commander - the first promotion since Tom made Lieutenant.

Something this episode has going for it is the high quality of the acting. In just a few short scenes, the lower ranks of the permanent cast each manage to shine in some way. It's good to see.

A good, firm episode, definitely worth watching.
