Episode propaganda

Voyager rescues three Illarian survivors from a seriously damaged starship. Beaming the survivors to Sickbay, the Doctor (Robert Picardo) saves two, Nori (Galyn görg) and Adin (Anthony Crivello), but is powerless to keep the third, Tieran (Leigh J McCloskey) alive. In his final moments he is attended by Kes (Jennifer Lien). Later, she begins to act strangely...

Intelligence report

Kes as a lezzo leather bitch from hell! Yeehar!

Of course, the good old "regular cast member is invaded by a belligerent being" storyline is nothing new to Star trek, but at least this episode focuses on the nastiness of the being and the trouble it makes so there's lots going on all the time. Jennifer Lien does quite well to get away from her apple pie Ocampa alter ego, although she doesn't do it quite as well as I would if I were playing the part. The problem is that Kes only gets interesting when she's someone else!

There's no lezzo kiss (almost!), but there is a lovely hint of a threesome: oh, those wacky Illarians!
