Technobabble aside, this is still one of the funniest episodes in the first season. Camp little moments abound in Humanoid interactions all over the ship - "Is that a new lipstick you're wearing Captain?" - make the most of these light moments because they disappear soon enough.
On the down side, Tom Paris introduces us to his holo-bar - Chez Sandrine - which haunts everyone until Neelix saves the day with the Tropical Paxau Resort in Season 3. But it's still worth a look.
