Episode propaganda

Pursuing a course back to the Alpha Quadrant, Voyager picks up a distress call. Trying to help, Voyager is trapped and the crew realise that both time and space are being distorted around them...

Intelligence report

A standard Star trek plot device mixed with the ongoing difficulty of running a starship in an unknown territory while integrating two very different crews.

The whole distress call thing is an excuse to let B'Elanna show how good she is at engineering, especially when compared to pasty Joe "think within the square" Carey. She's a wilful, arrogant, pig-headed, volatile woman, about what you'd expect from a Hispanic Klingon.

Klingon females are known throughout the Alpha Quadrant for their voracious sexual appetites. Latinas are just plain hot. It's no wonder their men are so butch.

Anyhoo, Parallax is mostly exposition for the rest of the series, showing the hard working crew trying to survive in a hostile corner of the galaxy.

Security censorship classification
