The Enterprise has been ordered to open diplomatic negations with the Melkotians. Despite a warning from the beings not to proceed, Kirk (William Shatner) orders his ship onwards. As punishment, the Melkotians transport him and several of his fellow officers to a bizarre wild west shoot out as the Clanton gang at the OK Corral, but historically the Clantons lost to the Earps!
