Beaming down to investigate a distress call from the scientific colony on Triacus, Captain Kirk (William Shatner) and his officers make a gruesome discovery. All the adults have apparently committed suicide. Even more chilling: the children seem unconcerned by their parents' death. Then when the children beam aboard the starship, so does the evil life form known to the youngsters as the Friendly Angel...
