Intelligence report

Now we're cooking with gas! Shat turns up the heat as Captain Kirk in my flatmate's favourite episode - and you even get two special guest deaths of the week.

We also get to experience our first dose of UFP ethics, when Kirk kills his good friend Gary Mitchell in order to save the galaxy. Philosophical dilemmas, fisticuffs, spooky powers and a couple of decent effects - that's the combination we ask for. Sure the women still get to play dumb blondes, and Jeffrey Hunter had a better butt than Shat ever did, but it's worth the sacrifice to have the beginnings of good Star trek.
