The Enterprise returns to the Nervala IV outpost to retrieve information from the computers that was not taken when the post was evacuated several years ago. The planet is apparently surrounded by a distortion field that prevents transport to the planet except during brief periods. When the away team transports down, they find another Will Riker (Jonathan Frakes), who was apparently stranded there years ago and who is still very much in love with Deanna Troi.Persons of interest
