The Enterprise is caught in a deadly trap and despite all Picard's efforts the situation grows worse. Geordi tries his own approach, programming the ship's computer to simulate one of the Enterprise's original designers, Leah Brahms (Susan Gibney), in the holodeck. Unfortunately for Geordi, he finds the simulation too realistic and begins to fall in love with her.
