Riva (Howie Seago) is a famous mediator who is attempting to stop a bitter conflict in the Ramatis System. Picard is surprised to discover that the great mediator is deaf! Riva communicates through a group of three people known as Chorus who each possess a distinctive feature of Riva's personality. Without Chorus, Riva is unable to communicate. And the unthinkable is about to happen.
