Episode propaganda

The most acclaimed and, without a doubt, the most intriguing Star trek adventure of all time.

It's the 23rd century, and a mysterious being power is threatening Earth by vaporising the oceans and destroying the atmosphere. In their frantic attempt to save mankind, Kirk (William Shatner) and his crew must time travel back to 1986 San Francisco where they find a world of punk, pizza and exact change buses that are as alien as anything they've ever encountered in the far reaches of the galaxy.

Intelligence report

Probably the funniest of the Star trek movies, and one of the more interesting ones as well (although that's not hard to do when you consider the First one).

The humour is really dry (even taking into account that half the movie is underwater) with many good-natured pokes at the primitive Humans of the late 20th century. Ah, those wacky pre-warp civilisations.

There are good character bits for all the support cast (ie regulars who aren't one of the big three), a good story (strong on the environmental issues), lots of action and lots of special effects.

This is a rollicking good yarn, even for people who've seen it already.
