Episode propaganda

A fleet of Klingon ships is stationed around Deep Space Nine and the Promenade is swarming with Klingons. However, the warriors aren't their usual antagonistic selves. General Martok (JG Hertzler), who leads the force, tells Sisko (Avery Brooks) they have come to help the Federation fight the Dominion. Sisko finds this odd, since the Federation neither requested nor expected help. Garak (Andrew Robinson) and Odo (René Auberjonois) then have a run-in with Drex (Obi Ndefo), a young Klingon, who later attacks Garak for no apparent reason.

Some subtle manoeuvring
Sisko: Mister Garak, I'd like to see you in the Wardroom immediately. Bring your tailor's kit.
Jadzia: All together, we're talking about well over 100 ships, just in the first wave.
Garak: Excuse me, I hope I'm not interrupting.
Sisko: I'd like to be measured for a new suit.
Garak: Now?
Sisko: Right now.
Garak: But Captain, I do have your measurements.
Sisko: Take them again. You were saying, Commander
Jadzia: I was saying that between ground forces and warships, the Klingons have committed almost a third of their military to this invasion.
Sisko: How long before they reach their target?
Worf: According to out estimates, the task force should enter Cardassian space within the hour.
Sisko: Don't forget the waist, I think I've lost a little weight.
Garak: Well thank you, Captain. I think I have everything I need.
