Sisko (Avery Brooks) builds a new version of an ancient Bajoran space vessel in an effort to prove the truth behind an 800-year-old legend. According to the legend, the Bajorans used such ships, which use solar pressure for propulsion, to explore their star system, even going as far as Cardassia. After initially declining his father's invitation, Jake (Cirroc Lofton) reconsiders and joins his father on the adventure. But the ship malfunctions and Jake and Sisko must regain control before the solar sails tear themselves apart and leave the pair stranded in space.Persons of interest
