Doctor Bashir (Siddig el Fadil) and Chief O'Brien (Colm Meaney) help two races put an end to their centuries of conflict. They do this by organising the destruction of the deadly bio-mechanical weapons known as Harvesters. Both races, the Kellerun and the T'lani, want a lasting peace. The price of that peace, however, is too high for the Starfleet officers...Persons of interest

Julian being an absolute pain (like he does), and Miles suffering the whole way. Nice twists, and the cavalry to the rescue. This is a really good character episode, especially if you grew up on a diet of Black & White war movies on a Black & White TV.Oh yes, it's also a male-bonding episode, inasmuch as anyone can bond with Bashir.
