Character development.
And people in the wrong places at the wrong times, like Disaster. This is always good, but it makes the non-regular characters look a bit weak. There's also a silly technobabble story (that drives the other plots), and a nitpick (Lwaxana and Odo in a locked and stuck turbolift move from turbolift 7 to turbolift 4; sure, it's a 47, but they can't be that desperate). And I knew Lwaxana would do that with her dress when Odo needed to regenerate. I'm getting far too clever for this show already.
*Sigh*
Worth watching for getting to know the regular characters.
