Ibudan (Steven James Carver), a Bajoran once arrested for murder, is found stabbed to death in one of Quark's (Armin Shimerman) holosuites, and Odo (René Auberjonois) becomes the prime suspect. As tension grows aboard DS9, Sisko (Avery Brooks) is forced to relieve Odo of duty, while Doctor Bashir (Siddig el Fadil) works to prove his innocence.
