Set over one weekend in South London, the film is an intimate portrait of a family as they strive to find love and fulfilment in their day-to-day lives.
Filmed on location with a small crew, using a hand held camera, no lights, no slates, no boom and no extras, the film captures the everyday experiences of life in a big city. The characters in the film are the people you see every day on the train, on the bus and at work. their search is eternal: how to find some love and contentment in this world.
Starring Shirley Henderson as Debbie, Gina Mckee as Nadia, Ian Hart as Dan, John Simm as Eddie, Enzo Cilenti as Darren, Jack Shepherd as Bill, Kika Markham as Eileen and Molly Parker as Molly. Directed by Michael Winterbottom.
