Theatrical report
Up is certainly an up film. It's sweet, cheerful, funny and full of adventure. There's a bit of silliness in that the technology is impossible (even today we can't make decent talking dog collars) and in that the antagonist lives to be a sprightly centenarian but if you suspend your disbelief then you have a lovely and poignant movie for the whole family.
The adventure, animation movie Up is directed by Pete Doctor, Bob Peterson and stars Ed Asner, Christopher Plummer, John Ratzenberger.
