Luc Devereaux, an unwilling recruit in the top secret élite military strike force, Universal Soldier, wins a deadly battle with a renegade Unisol, Sergeant Scott. Scott gives Luc and Veronica, a can news correspondent, temporary relief from Mentor, the ruthless leader of the operation.

In order to remain free they must expose Mentor's deadly objective - to create the ultimate mercenary army by harvesting dead soldiers, genetically enhancing them then re-animating them.

Before they can reveal all to the media, Luc, compelled by an automatic guidance unit implanted in his neck, returns to the Unisol base where his memory is wiped. Veronica, determined to track him down, breaks into the Unisol base and finds Eric, Luc's long lost brother, in a cryo-chamber in suspended animation.

Veronica re-animates Eric, a prototype Unisol, and together they track down Luc and escape, sabotaging mentor's million-dollar covert arms deal in the process.

Enraged, Mentor leads the Unisols in an explosive cross-country pursuit, until the final battle when the Devereaux brothers face off against an army of super soldiers.

Starring Matt Battaglia, Chandra West, Jeff Wincott, Gary Busey and Burt Reynolds.
