Jimmy is a loser. He's cute, he's sexy, but he's a loser, and like all losers everywhere he thinks that there's a way to get rich quick, no worries. His mind is so locked on the small picture that he can't see the forest for the trees. For Jimmy, tomorrow never comes - it's all the same day - which is why he thinks that crime will pay. Crime is like the lottery: it doesn't pay. Sure, there are people who win big but in Lotto (for example) there is 1 chance of winning big and 504,217 chances of not. Jimmy is a 504, 217 boy.

Heath Ledger makes good use of his testosterone to roam around a Bondi summer full of good (albeit unlawful) intentions. Bryan Brown shows us what Jimmy would've been had he been born 20 years earlier with 20 more IQ points. Most of the other characters (and actors) fall somewhere between these two, the others just fall. These people are Little Aussie Battlers™ going on White Trash and are probably related to The boys.

If you like a Good Little Aussie Film™ about loser crims and their extra-legal adventures, Two hands is right up your alley. If you just want to perve at Heath running around in his underpants, it's good for that, too.
