Theatrical report
Twice upon a time (Désaccord parfait) doesn't have the warmth of Priceless (Hors de prix) or the drama of My wife is an actress (Ma femme est une actrice) but it still manages to be warm and entertaining.
Charlotte Rampling is a Queen Bitch in the way that only an English woman can be, which is to say almost as bitchy as an English man can be. Jean Rochefort is very French, which is to say an arrogant bastard in the way that only a French person can be. Together, they are like flint and steel, which is to say, they spark.
If you like occasionally funny French films then Twice upon a time (Désaccord parfait) will scratch the itch.
The drama, France, romance movie Twice upon a time (Désaccord parfait) is directed by Antoine de Caunes and stars Jean Rochefort, Charlotte Rampling, Isabelle Nanty.
