Seven years ago, seven friends bet each other that the last man married would win a pooled bet. Now, that money was wisely invested and has become a large amount of money... and there're only two guys left unmarried.

Now that bet could save Michael Delaney's (Jerry O'Connell) life. He owes a Vegas casino from a gambling spree and he needs the cash.

There is only one person standing in his way... Kyle Brenner (Jake Busey), a notorious womaniser and Michael's competition to win the bet, the money and his life back. It seems hopeless but Michael has a secret weapon... Natalie (Shannon Elizabeth).

Since Tomcats is a guy movie, it's full of misogynistic moments, alcoholism, homophobia, pædophobia, casual sex and everything else you'd expect from a subspecies of the human race that's ruled by the neural fibres located in their reproductive organs. In other words, it's gutter funny. As for the romance, well, it's as tender and gentle as you'd expect from a subspecies of the human race that's ruled by the neural fibres located in their reproductive organs. The woman is a prize to be:

won.

Naturally enough, everyone's favourite rootboy (Jerry) manages to find his ideal woman, set her up with someone else who's a jerk so he can win some money and pay off a gambling debt he racked up trying to impress some chick, then marry her. You know what guys are like. Who cares what happens as long as you get your dick sucked.

PS: Jerry's hairy bum is significant because it is the first hairy human bum in cinematic history. Prior to Jerry's unveiling all bums were smooth and hairless. After all, you wouldn't want to expose all those innocent audience members to wild, untamed, animalistic, buttocks au naturale, now would you?
