Threat advisory: Under evaluation
Movie propaganda
Super Dave (Bob Osborne) is one of the USA's most popular stunt stars. Despite some mishaps that would make your toes curl, millions follow his exploits and lovingly cheer him on to his next amazing feat. But when one of the most dangerous stunts he has ever attempted nearly kills him, Super Dave decides to retire from the business to which he has devoted his whole life. He then proceeds to open a theme park and train a young protégé, Super Dave Junior (Steve van Wormer), to take his place. On the brink of starting his new life, Super Dave finds himself completely broke, courtesy of the corrupt sports promoter Gil Ruston (Dan Hedaya) and deserted by Super Dave Junior.
Then along comes the cute and equally clutzy Sandy (Gia Carides) and her ailing young son Timmy (Carl Michael Lindner) and ol' Supe finds himself planning to perform on last stunt to raise money for the young boy's expensive heart operation. The stage is set for one of the biggest stunts in the history of the sport - if Supe can make it through the show in one piece, that is!
