Why would the most popular girl in school wear a mask?

In this very unladylike black comedy, the tight bond shared by five high school cheerleaders is strengthened when one of them becomes pregnant. Between school work, cheerleading, and lamaze class, the squad plots a heist to ensure the baby's financial future. Little did they know their antics would become the talk of the nation.

Theatrical report

I wouldn't call it a black comedy. American psycho, that was a black comedy. Black comedy is where you can see the humour in what's going on but you don't find it funny. Sugar and spice, I saw the humour and laughed a bit. It's just another teen comedy flick with a tad seriousness, as far as cheerleaders are able to be serious, that is. It wasn't my cup of tea but then it was very hard to follow at times. What they didn't do was cut important bits out, or run the film longer than necessary. It's just that for me, it wasn't that great. I am not a big fan of cheerleaders. But then again who is?
