A comedic fantasy about a rustic Wisconsin town that's turned upside down (almost literally) when a massive invention is discovered to have been built underneath it. The main characters, town sheriff Karen Green and boyishly exuberant scientist Howard Heywood, fall in love as the super-collider reactor causes people to disappear.
