Movie propaganda
Obey the rules.
A dramatic and thrilling study of sexual conflict, jealousy, power and manipulation handled with both lacerating wit and humour, Sleuth tells the story of Andrew Wyke (Michael Caine), a wealthy writer of detective stories, and aspiring yet out-of-work actor, Milo Tindle (Jude Law), who is having an affair with the writer's wife. The writer's exquisitely modernised Georgian manor, becomes the backdrop for a cat and mouse game that pits one creative mind against another.

Theatrical report
Sleuth is disappointing because it is a play, not a movie. The dialogue, the action, the location, the acting, all are from the theatre, not from the cinema. Crossing the genres like this never works. Not that it isn't entertaining, it's just that you'd like it better on the stage.
The mystery, thriller, UK movie Sleuth is directed by Kenneth Branagh and stars Jude Law, Michael Caine.
