Shattered image observes the nightmare of one woman (Anne Parillaud) catapulted back and forth between two personalities in two separate time frames. The frightened wife in Port Antonia of the hard-hearted assassin in Seattle. She can't tell anymore, and her husband Brian (William Baldwin) is nowhere to be found. Out of her mind and hysterical, Jesse thinks of the sharp razor blade that nearly ended the insanity of her double life once before. staggering to the bathroom, she puts a blade to her wrists.

She screams as the shocking truth hits her revealing the painful memory of the violent attack. She whispers let this be a dream, as she plays the scene over again to its horrible conclusion. Can Jesse gain back her sanity and unmask the monster in her dreams or has he already succeeded in taking everything?
