When Gabriel (Michaël Cohen) and Émilie (Julie Gayet) meet randomly in the street, it's the start of a long story, a story used to explain why Émilie must refuse an innocent kiss. She relates a tale of two best friends, Nicolas (Emmanuel Mouret) and Judith (Virginie Ledoyen) - she happily married, he single and starved for affection. When the two contrive a cure for his loneliness, a naive kiss sparks an emotional chain reaction. And it's a story that may be about to repeat itself...
