They don't come any tougher than Jeffrey Thorpe.
A charming ladies man, a swashbuckling rogue and a tough as nails loner without a country.
Discharged from the USA Navy for disobeying orders, Thorpe (Thomas Ian Griffith) sails the high seas as a mercenary for hire in his sleek ship called "Sea Wolf". Upon meeting the beautiful and mysterious Helene, Thorpe is enlisted on a secret mission that's strictly on an need to know basis. What he doesn't realise is that he's in for the biggest adventure of his life... the hunt for buried pirate treasure.
Caught in a battle with smugglers, bandits and scoundrels, Thorpe realises that he may be in above his head.
Can Thorpe rise above his adversaries and bask in the riches of the pirate treasure, and maybe get the girl at the same time?
Climb aboard The sea wolf to find out.

Theatrical report
Crap. Can I have a Craptacular special with a side order of Crap and a glass of Crap, please? Thank you. Haven't seen the poor guy since Karate Kid III, and I know why. Okay, so his performance didn't lift him very high. The supporting cast must be the producers' daughters, because they cannot act - well they can, in a hard-core porn film kind of way. Tragic. I don't think I have seen most of the cast since the 80s, and they should've stayed there. I admit that it could've been worse. The cinematographers were pretty decent. The director was a little more stoned, though - too slow in closing a scene and too fast on opening a scene - than was necessary; and the costumes, were probably brought in from the cast's wardrobe. I will not trash this film further. However, if the man wants a blokey film, this is it.
