After graduation from university, Sidney (Neve Campbell) heads to Hollywood to pursue an acting career. As self-reflexivity goes, she lands her first role in Stab 3 which takes her full circle back to Woodsboro, the scene of the original crime. Things take on the eerie feel of déjà vu as the actors in the production get plucked out one-by-one.
