Scary movie 2

Threat advisory: Elevated - Significant risk of entertaining activities

Movie propaganda

We lied.

A year after Doofy Gilmore killed several dumb teenagers, a new killer returns to kill Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris) and some more dumb teens. Cindy thinks it is the man she accidentally killed, but other people think it is Doofy's girlfriend Gail Hailstorm. Gail Hailstorm is also the one who is pronouncing the school prom's King and Queen. So Cindy's friends plan to spill cow poop on Gail before she pronounces the two.

Theatrical report

If you saw and liked the first one then you'll see and like the second.

Sunny Stephens didn't like either although that has as much to do with her viewing taste as any potential filmic inadequacy.

The sequel started off well and continued well up until the part where Sunny fell asleep. Other than that it was very funny all the way through.

The beginning was the best part - even though everyone has seen it all before - being the puke scene from The exorcist. It was especially good after the priest's mother gets out of the bed and then the demon pukes all over him. That starts a lot of compulsive puking on everyone else's part. Hee, hee, hee.

Scary movie 2 slowed down toward the end but once it got to the end I didn't feel that it had taken much time at all.
