Based on a character from the hit HBO series, Mr Show, Run Ronnie Run! is an outrageous new comedy that follows Ronnie Dobbs' (David Cross) hilarious rise from small town loser to television superstar - veering off on some comical side roads along the way.
An uneducated, unemployed slacker, Ronnie spends his days in the small Georgia town of Doraville drinking beer and terrorising its residents. Ronnie's life does a 180 degree turn when TV producer Terry Twillstein (Bob Odenkirk) discovers him after witnessing one of Ronnie's many arrests on a Cops style show. As Ronnie Dobbs becomes a mega-star, both he and Terry Twillstein use their wit, ingenuity and audacity to get what they want - one a lost love and the other a hit TV show.
