A story of sex, thugs and rock 'n' roll.
RocknRolla takes a dangerous ride into high crime and low life in contemporary London, where real estate has supplanted drugs as the biggest market, and criminals are its most enthusiastic entrepreneurs. With millions up for grabs, all of London's criminal underworld conspires, colludes and collides with one another in an effort to take their cut. But as high rollers and petty criminals alike jockey for dominance, the true prize of one multi-million-dollar deal will fall into the hands of a junkie rock star...

Special Agent Matti
RocknRolla is a delightfully complex, stylish and funny crime caper and something of a return to form for Guy Ritchie after the quick disappearance of Revolver. It is so twisted that you will not guess the ending no matter how clever you are. All you can do is sit back and enjoy the ride (assuming that you like RollaCoastas, that is, and be thankful that you aren't going to end up seeing your lunch on your shoes).
Sure, the world of London crime is well-known to us all because we've all seen - amongst other things - Lock, stock and two smoking barrels and Snatch and even The bank job. Sure, we've seen convoluted plots before, not the least from Guy Ritchie but there's something about RocknRolla that would make you sit up and take notice, not the least because there's a sequel threatened. If you like Guy's movies, you'll like RocknRolla.
Oh, yeah, Toby Kebbell's fucked-up, junked-up rocker is a line in psycho that all actors should aspire to. I really was scared at what he and his character would do next because I knew that it was all going to end in tears. Cool.
The action, crime, UK movie RocknRolla is directed by Guy Ritchie and stars Gerard Butler, Gemma Arterton, Thandie Newton.
