A comedy straight from the heart.
An endearing romantic drama infused with real life humour, Return to me shows that life can change in an instant. Lonely and widowed Bob Rueland (David Duchovny) strikes up a friendship with the beautiful but frail Grace Briggs (Minnie Driver) and her coterie of substitute mothers including her Irish grandfather (Carroll O'Connor as Marty O'Reilly), who with his Italian brother-in-law (Robert Loggia as Angelo Pardipillo) run a bustling Italian restaurant, O'Reilly's, their colourful cronies and her best friend Megan Dayton (Bonnie Hunt) and her warm-hearted proletarian husband Joe Dayton (James Belushi). As Bob and Grace gravitate more towards each other they prove that destiny will always have its way with us... and that love is much more than just a matter of the heart.

Secret Agent Acid Thunder
I promise that I will never tell my devoted audience again that David Duchovny is a terrible actor. Damnation upon those who gave him a starting career in film and TV!
I have seen him try suspense/drama in Playing God, I've seen his attempts at science fiction with The X-Files and with his latest attempts at outlandish comedy I can only suggest that he cut his losses and go back to mime school. Return to me was a great movie with regards all the standard areas (plot, theme, etc.) and what cinematography was unique was... uhhh... N/A.
Michael J Fox would have played the lead part better.
