Special Agent Matti
A rollicking good family adventure.
You don't need to have seen the original movie to enjoy this film, as the characters and story are fresh and inventive (but still comfortingly familiar, if that's not too much of a contradiction). I delighted in the sense of fun with which this movie was obviously made. There are puns, in-jokes, and plenty of Australian references for all to enjoy. I was a bit surprised that they chose Americans to do the voices (since when did Australian kids call their mother "Mom"?), but it's great to see something of the Australian terraculture on the screen.
This film is one which kids will enjoy watching several times over, so it's a good investment, especially as we're coming up to Christmas!
