Threat advisory: Under evaluation
Movie propaganda
The new battle-of-the-sexes comedy from writer-director Alexandra Leclère (Me and My Sister) is an outrageous farce with a cynical subtext, and rocketed to number one at the French box office last April.
Odile (Nathalie Baye) is an rich housewife who has little else to do in life but shop, visit beauty salons, and fend off the amorous advances of her husband Jean-Pierre (Christian Clavier).
Frustrated by the separate bedrooms and the absence of intimacy, Jean-Pierre accepts the questionable advice of his chauffeur and decides to renegotiate his home situation and his wife's life of leisure, by announcing, "No sex, no money!"
Let the games begin!!!
