Jimmy Smits and former Golden Gloves champion Jon Seda star in Price of glory, an emotionally charged film about one father's efforts to train his gifted sons to become championship boxers.
The film follows Arturo Ortega (Jimmy Smits), a rising contender whose career is unexpectedly cut short. Years later, this determined father attempts to realise his broken dreams through his three young sons, Sonny (Jon Seda), Johnny (Ernesto Hernandez) and Jimmy (Clifton González).
Also starring Maria del Mar as Rita Ortega, Paul Rodriguez as Pepe, Danielle Camastra as Mariella, Matt Cedeno as young Arturo Ortega and Ron Perlman as Nick Everson. Written by Phil Berger, directed by Carlos Ávila.
