Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl - Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Orlando Bloom, Gore Verbinski
Threat advisory: High - High risk of entertaining activities
Movie propaganda
The daughter of a colonial governor, young Elizabeth Swann's notions of romance and adventure changed forever that day aboard the HMS Dauntless, when young Will Turner was pulled from the Caribbean amid the murdered crew and burning wreckage of a British ship attacked by pirates.
Years later, Will (Orlando Bloom), a handsome, gifted young blacksmith in the colony of Port Royal, is undeniably smitten with Elizabeth (Keira Knightley), now a beautiful young woman of 20. He is, however, painfully aware of the class differences between them. And Elizabeth, to her father's approval, is all but betrothed to the dashing and ambitious Norrington, once the Captain of the Dauntless, now to be a commodore of the British fleet, sworn to rid the region of the marauding pirates who sail its waters.
Based on the Disney amusement park attractions.

Theatrical report
It's camp and it's got pirates. Johnny Depp is a big queen. Orlando Bloom is a big hottie. Keira Knightley is a big hero. Geoffrey Rush is a bit over the top but at least it's not A little bit of soul.
