Movie propaganda
Every year the population of sleepy Lake Victoria explodes from 5,000 to 50,000 for Spring Break, a riot of sun and drunken fun. But this year, there's something more to worry about than hangovers and complaints from local old timers; A new type of terror is about to be cut loose on Lake Victoria. After a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of the prehistoric man-eating fish, an unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming fish food for the area's new razor-toothed residents.

Theatrical report
Hoo boy, I haven't seen a film this bad in a long time. It's like taking a trip back to the 80s when the big Hollywood studios didn't know what to do with new technology so they took their shit films and made them 3d. This version of Piranha is so bad that they had to insert a whole lot of soft porn (naked chicks, girl-on-girl action) to make it entertaining. For straight boys. Talk about targeting a demographic.
If you like B-grade movies with lots of titties, dodgy plots and barely adequate special effects and shit acting, this film is for you.
The horror movie Piranha is directed by Alexandre Aja and stars Adam Scott, Steven R McQueen, Elisabeth Shue.
