After earning France's Medal of Honour for solving the Pink Panther diamond mystery, Inspector Jacques Clouseau (Steve Martin) has been reassigned to a remedial job by Chief Inspector Dreyfus (John Cleese) to keep him out of trouble. Alas, the Pink Panther diamond is stolen yet again during a series of thefts around the world.
His previous success earns him a place on a “Dream Team” with the world's greatest detectives, and Clouseau is back on the case - this time wreaking havoc across the globe!
