Theatrical report

Paranoid Park is a grey companion piece to Elephant. Where the latter was full of colour and movement, the former is a dull, urban, gritty, brownish-grey and the death is a random piece of minor violence that has consequences out of all proportion with its intent. That's a nice piece of real life right there.

The drama, teen, thriller movie Paranoid Park is directed by Gus Van Sant and stars Gabe Nevins, Daniel Liu, Taylor Momsen.
