Not quite Hollywood is an important documentary about the Australian filmmaking industry of the middle 20th century. If you are a film student it gives you a great quickie look at life before Aussiewood, not to mention some of the most horrendous fashion choices in the history of cinema. However, even though it's a must for cinephiles it has little to recommend it to the average punter.
