Movie propaganda

It's a cold grey winter in this working-class town - a quiet oceanside community where not much changes day to day, month to month, year to year.

Claudia (Lauren Holly) works at the diner. She lives with Michael (Jon Bon Jovi), a guy she's known forever. He's good to her. They're comfortable together. After work, they go over to the local bar. They hang out with friends. Throw back a few.

She's got a steady job. A steady boyfriend. A steady... life.

And life has been this way pretty much since high school. It's still the same old same old.

Until Charlie (Edward Burns) shows up. A few years ago he dumped Claudia, broke her heart and disappeared. And now he's back to pick up where he left off... to take Claudia away with him to... well, any place but this place.

For Claudia it's time to make a choice. To follow her dreams. All she has to do is figure out what they are.

Also starring Blythe Danner as Claudia's mother and Jennifer Esposito as Teresa. Written and directed by Edward Burns.
