Theatrical report
Nightmare before Christmas 3d is a strange little film about weirdo freaks who just want to be happy but don't know how to get there because they've spent all their lives as weirdo freaks. It manages to both celebrate and take the piss out of Christmas in a way that most other Christmas movies don't.
Having never seen this film in two dimensions I won't comment on the transfer to three other than to say that it seems fine. Also, there are no new scenes added to "enhance" the extra-dimensional experience.
This is a fun flick that's just in time for Halloween.
The animation, Christmas, comedy movie Nightmare before Christmas 3d is directed by Henry Selick and stars Angela Bassett, Catherine O'Hara, Danny Elfman.
