Theatrical report
When I saw River Phoenix fall down in My own private Idaho I thought that narcolepsy looked to be a fun kind of disease: if nothing else, it gives you the perfect excuse. For everything! And now, along comes Guillaume Canet in Narco to prove my point: no-one in their right mind expects anything from a narcoleptic. How can you get angry at someone who is late because they had an uncontrollable fit and fell into a coma? Haven't done your homework? Just fall down and have a nap. Forgot to meet someone? "I had an attack on the way there and they sent me to hospital." Narco proves just how much fun a disability can be!
