Michele Lee plays Barbara Traynor, a loving mother and a devoted wife to her husband, Denny (Peter Coyote). Their lives are almost perfect. They have good friends and family and Denny's construction business is doing well. Then late one night, chaos erupts in their home as Denny is arrested for a murder in Oregon nearly 27 years ago.

Desperate to find the truth, Barbara takes the investigation into her own hands and attempts to track down the only other person who knows what really happened that night in 1972. Now she must fight to set aside the lies and mistrust in order to save the man she loves from a lifetime jailed for a crime he claims he did not commit.

Also starring Joshua Keaton as teenage Denny and Donnelly Rhodes as Mac; based on the book Mountain madness by Jimmy Dale Taylor and Donald G Bross, teleplay by Dan Levine, directed by Dick Lowry.
