As Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona was a love letter to Barcelona, MIDNIGHT IN PARIS is a love letter to Paris. It’s about a family travelling on business; it’s about two young people who are engaged to be married (Wilson and McAdams); it's about a young man falling in love with the City of Light; and ultimately it’s about the illusion people have that a life different from their own would be much better. The Hollywood Reporter called it “as beguiling as a stroll around Paris on a warm spring evening”.
