The only way to rid temptation is to give into it.
Night falls on San Juan as two cops stake out the graveyard shift. A male prostitute crosses their path and disappears into the shadows. Then light beats back the night he is found murdered and becomes the latest statistic for the serial killer called Saturday Night Slasher (Dennis Hopper). The victim is the brother of Michael Killan (Richard Grieco) a Jesuit priest who leaves the monastery in the Dominican Republic to be with his mourning mother.
Dan Diaz, a detective in the San Juan police force, and coincidentally Michael's uncle, is assigned to the homicides. More bizarre still, the serial killer leaves a splatter of painted messages across the walls of each murder site and Michael recognises this as brilliant abstract artwork. After Michael's mother commits suicide, he goes undercover into the dark world of the psycho to seek retribution for his brother's death.
