Megiddo: The Omega Code 2

Threat advisory: Low - Low risk of entertaining activities

Movie propaganda

In the beginning, the end had a name.

Megiddo is a supernatural ride into a world teetering on the edge of the apocalypse. It follows the rise of a machiavellian leader bent on amassing the armies of the world for the battle of Armageddon while calamities of biblical proportion pummel the earth.

Theatrical report

It's got that Austrian guy from Johnny Mnemonic and it's got a bunch of other 80s cinema stars/has beens, and it looks good from afar, but it's far from good. The cast, graphics and special effects are all half-arsed, as you would normally get with a B-grade film, although I think that they should have made it a feature. The trouble is, I think that they did try but nobody wanted to do it. Too bad really, I liked it and I'm not much for religious films. Believe, this is a religious film. At the end there is this huge Revelations quote, with "holy" music blaring through the TV speakers. Very bad taste if you ask this agent. That ending is why it got such a low score. If you want the masses (non-Christians included) to enjoy this film, don't go evangelistic on them.
